Justin Herbert, quarterback of the Los Angeles Chargers, will not play on Thursday Night Football as the team faces the Las Vegas Raiders. Backup Easton Stick will get the start.

Herbert fractured a finger on his throwing hand in the Chargers’ dismantling at the hands of the AFC West rival Denver Broncos. Adam Schefter reports that Herbert will miss the TNF tilt and will seek further evaluation of his injury.

Stick outplayed Herbert in relief duty and finished 13 of 24 for 179 yards passing, with zero turnovers, after Herbert exited the matchup including two completions to rookie WR Quentin Johnston for 57 and 22 yards each.
