Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence set a career high, throwing for five touchdowns against the New York Jets.
The Prince that was promised arrived on Sunday as Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars laid an absolute beatdown on the New York Jets. Lawrence accounted for six touchdowns on the day, including a career high of five passing touchdowns, completing 20 of 32 passes for 330 yards, while adding 51 yards and a score on the ground, and didn’t have a turnover for the third consecutive game. He currently sits as the QB1 in Week 15 heading into SNF.
The primary beneficiary of the historic day was running back Travis Etienne, who was on the receiving end of three of the touchdowns, highlighted by a 45-yard catch and run. Etienne sits as the RB1 for the week. The duo has played together for seven years, and Etienne has never seen Lawrence like this; he’s on fire. Fantasy managers who started either player in the first round of playoff matchups hope their performances were enough to advance them to round two.
