Josh Jacobs On Status: 'Best I've Felt...' | Quarterback Love Also Raring to Go for Packers
2 days ago

Days leading up to the season’s rubber match with the Bears, Josh Jacobs, Jordan Love, and others have gotten healthy at the right time for the Green Bay Packers

Green Bay had been battling injuries across the board to close out the regular season. It appears the team has turned the corner in that respect, especially from the two most important skill players on the roster. Running back Josh Jacobs and quarterback Jordan Love have no reported limitations for Saturday night’s first-round playoff matchup when the Packers invade Chicago to do battle with the No. 2 seed and division rival Bears.

Jacobs, who has been battling a nagging knee injury all season, managed just 28 combined carries in Weeks 15-17, but got a full rest with other starters in Week 18. “My body coming into this game is the best I’ve felt probably in the last six weeks,” Jacobs said. “So it’s a pretty good situation to be in.” Meanwhile, Jordan Love is a week removed from clearing concussion protocol. He sustained the concussion and exited Week 16 early before missing Week 17. Love cleared league protocol before the team’s Week 18 affair, but was held out along with others to be ready for Saturday. Neither he nor Jacobs carries any injury designation for the game.

Green Bay is currently favored by 1.5 points for the matchup at Soldier Field.
