The Carolina Panthers are signing ex-Raider Hunter Renfrow on a 1-year deal.
After drafting Tetairoa McMillan as the first wide-out off the board with the 8th overall pick, and later Jimmy Horn Jr. in the 6th round, the Panthers’ receiving room looked more than complete. Adam Thielen, Jalen Coker, and Xavier Legette also remain on the roster, making Renfrow’s path to fantasy relevance in 2025 an uphill battle.
Renfrow didn’t play in 2024 as he remained unsigned. The 29-year-old peaked in 2021, topping 1,000 receiving yards and 9 touchdowns before failing to reach 350 yards in ’22 and ’23. He will need to muster all of his trademark grit and determination during camp in order to even see the field for what should be a much-improved offensive attack.
