Drew Lock will make his first start since 2021 for Seahawks with Geno Smith nursing a groin injury.
Drew Lock is set to make his first start as a Seahawk. Geno Smith is currently dealing with a groin injury and won’t be available for the upcoming game against the 49ers. Therefore, Drew Lock is expected to start as a quarterback for the first time since 2021. However, it will not be an easy task as the game is scheduled to be played away from home and against a challenging opponent like the 49ers.
All pass-catchers should be slightly downgraded with Lock under center or at the very least temper expectations for players like D.K Metcalf and Tyler Lockett.
