Malik Willis
Dolphins committed to Malik Willis (for now)

According to the plugged-in Kevin Clark, Dolphins GM Jon-Eric Sullivan stated that the team will build around QB Malik Willis.

Let’s go. We all know Sullivan signed dynamic bridge QB Malik Willis to a three-year deal to placate the fans while the team executes a top-to-bottom roster rebuild. Regardless, it is encouraging to see Sullivan go out of his way to express confidence in the quarterback’s playmaking ability and adaptability.

Willis faces tempered fantasy football expectations after Miami jettisoned star playmakers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. The team will be rolling with a first-round rookie WR as well as Malik Washington, Tutu Atwell, and Jalen Tolbert. Miami will also draft a back-up caliber quarterback in 2026 with an eye toward securing a franchise QB in the 2027 NFL Draft.

Willis’ mobility and lack of weaponry will create a fantasy point-rich environment for the fifth-year signal caller. Expect a high scramble rate and numerous designed runs for the newly minted Konami QB. Willis is a strong buy in all fantasy football formats.
