Devin Singletary
Devin Singletary Joins the NY Giants

Devin Singletary is signing a 3-year, $16.5 million deal (worth up to $19.5 million) with the NY Giants.

To fill the immense void left by the departure of Saquon Barkley and his subsequent signing with Philly, the NY Giants have signed former Buffalo Bills and Houston Texans RB, Devin Singletary. The 3-year deal is much more team friendly than the money Saquon was seeking and ultimately got from the NFC East rival Eagles. Singletary is coming off a productive 1,091 total yards and 4 TD season.

Motor is teaming up again with Brian Daboll, the current head coach of the Giants and his previous offensive coordinator with the Buffalo Bills. Under Daboll’s guidance in 2021, Singletary had his most successful season.

Singletary is very capable of contributing when given the opportunity. Once he took over the Houston backfield in 2023, he had several RB2 level fantasy weeks. However, there are serious concerns with the Giants, especially after their dismal performance in 2023 when they struggled to establish both the run and the pass. Singletary certainly fills a critical role for NY, but there are still many questions about Daniel Jones and the offense that will hopefully be answered this off-season.
