The Athletic’s Dianna Russini reports the Broncos acquired former Miami Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle in exchange for 2026 first round pick as well as a third and fourth round draft picks.
After weeks of trade denials, the Dolphins sent Jaylen Waddle to Denver for a haul of premium draft picks. While Waddle’s production recently dipped due to injuries and Miami’s run-heavy scheme, the 27-year-old now joins a high-volume Broncos passing attack. He’ll challenge Courtland Sutton to be Bo Nix’s top target in 2026, meanwhile Tutu Atwell and Malik Washington are vying for the defactor WR1 role on the rebuilding Dolphins.
