D'Andre Swift to Bears on 3 Year Deal

D’Andre Swift returns to NFC North joining the Chicago Bears on a 3-Year Deal.

After one season away from the NFC North, D’Andre Swift returns, joining the Chicago Bears on a 3-year deal worth $24 million.  Swift was drafted by the Detroit Lions in 2020 NFL Draft as the 35th overall pick.  After the Lions drafted Jahmyr Gibbs at 12th overall in the 2023 NFL Draft, Swift was then traded to the Philadelphia Eagles.  He put together his best season yet in the pros, he would have had more touchdowns with the Eagles this past season if wasn’t for the famous Tush Push.  He still produced great stats leading him to being one of the most sought-after running backs this free agency.

The Bears signed Swift means this will give them a new RB1.  Swift is a do it all running back, so it will be interesting as to what they will do with their number 2 running back whether it be Khalil Herbert or Roschon Johnson is to be seen.  But as for now the Bears have a new number 1 in town by the name of D’Andre Swift.
