Courtland Sutton skips Broncos voluntary workouts as contract and trade talk heat up.

According to Jeremy Fowler, the Denver Broncos have received multiple trade inquiries for 28 year old veteran wide receiver Courtland Sutton. Despite all these rumors, it is being reported that the Broncos don’t plan on trading Sutton. This is now the second year in a row the Broncos have garnered significant trade interest from the former 1000 yard receiver.

Sutton played 16 games for the Broncos in 2023, having his second best statistical season as a pro, earning 59 receptions for 772 with 10 touchdowns. His 10 touchdowns was a career high and that has brought eyes on Sutton once again this offseason. Sutton is currently sitting out the Broncos voluntary camp in hopes of restructuring his contract. Sutton is only guaranteed $2M in salary this upcoming season and is looking for a pay increase based on his contributions in 2023.
