Cooper Kupp
Cooper Kupp Future with the Rams is Cloudy
3 weeks ago

Wide reciever Cooper Kupp has more football in him, it just may not be with the Los Angeles Rams.

Cooper Kupp acknowledges there were trade rumors during the 2024 season. Injuries have hampered his ability to put up the big numbers that he had in 2022 where he was the triple crown reciver leading the league in the three major receiving categories and clinching the Super Bowl MVP. Kupp was able to play in 14 games this season finishing with 73 catches, 800 receiving yards and 6 touchdowns finishing as WR36. Entering next season at age 32, Kupp will be hard pressed to stay healthy for a full season. He also will count as $7.52 million against the cap, while not a large number, his production after signing his extension in 2022 has not matched his contract. Kupp wants to continue playing with the Rams, he knows that the decision is out of his control.

Kupp has been disappointing as a WR option in fantasy since the 2022 season. He finished as the WR1 in fantasy points per game in 2022 although he only played in 9 games. Since then he has finished as WR23 and WR27 respectively the last two seasons. Kupp stands to benefit staying with the Rams next season. His fantasy future is questionable until it is set in stone where he is playing next year. Check back in when that decision is made.
