Clyde Edwards-Helaire will see less touches on Sunday if Jerick McKinnon returns.
Not only is Isiah Pacheco set to be the lead back for Kansas City, but Clyde Edwards-Helaire should see even less touches with Jerick McKinnon being designated for return from Injured Reserve. McKinnon has been on IR since December due to a groin injury.
This will be Edwards-Helaire last ride as a Chief since Kansas City did not pick-up his fifth-year option. When the running back was first drafted by the Chiefs Edwards-Helaire was a fantasy draft darling. Unfortunately he has not lived up to the hype, and disappointed fantasy managers.
In terms of dynasty, Edwards-Helaire will be a bargain buy-low this offseason. The change of scenery will do him good. Dynasty managers should be able to obtain the running back for a late-second or third round rookie pick.
