Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers wants to head to the Los Angeles Rams along with wide receiver Davante Adams.
Aaron Rodgers has stated he wants to play for the Los Angeles Rams and he wants wide receiver Davante Adams to follow him there. After two unsuccessful seasons in New York, the Jets informed the HOF quarterback they are moving on. Rodgers clearly wants to end his career on better terms and he believes he can accomplish that in LA. Rodgers first season with the Jets was short lived as he tore his Achilles four snaps in. He bounced back last season with 3,897 passing yards with 28 TDs and 11 INTs. These are stats that any quarterback would like to have but the team finished with a 5-12 record. Rodgers has always been an enigma whether that is with his world views or his treatment of teammates, that said, there is no doubt he is a Hall of Fame quarterback.
If Rodgers makes his way into Sean McVay’s offense, will he be able to accept the way his head coach wants to play. Towards the end of his years in Green Bay, Rodgers conflicted with then new head coach Matt LaFleur for a couple of seasons before winning multiple MVPs. Rodgers will be 41 years old this season, he doesn’t have multiple seasons to get comfortable with McVay, even though McVay and LaFleur run similar offenses. The question is, do the Rams even want Rodgers? They still have Matthew Stafford under contract at the moment. Rodgers finished as QB-15 in 2024, he could potentially be in the top 10 in LA.
