The Philadelphia Eagles have finally executed the post-June 1 blockbuster, sending A.J. Brown to the New England Patriots for a 2028 first and a 2027 fifth-round draft pick. Brown leaves behind a run-heavy Philadelphia offense where his production dipped to 78 receptions and 1,003 receiving yards in 2025, a clear frustration for the veteran who now steps into a definitive alpha role under former head coach Mike Vrabel.

The incoming target volume makes this a significant win for ascending quarterback Drake Maye. Brown is now teed up for an elite bounce-back WR1 season in 2026. His ADP in both best ball and dynasty leagues is set to rise now that the deal is official and 2026 fantasy point projections can be solidified.
