For quarterbacks, anything from coaching to the talent of their receivers will be important to look at. In 2021, players like Matthew Stafford, Joe Burrow, and Jalen Hurts provided excellent value. There will be more quarterbacks that will be draft day or waiver wire steals in 2022.

They say life is better in Miami. It sure seems that way for Dolphins fans. In comes a new head coach, a re-built back field, and an upgraded offensive line. Plus, the addition of the now highest paid wide receiver in football, Tyreek Hill.
For the second year in a row, the Dolphins were led on the ground by Myles Gaskin. Behind him, a committee of ancillary players all saw significant work. These players included Duke Johnson, Salvon Ahmed, Phillip Lindsay, and Malcolm Brown. Each of these players had at least 33 carries. For good measure, Patrick Laird added one rushing attempt.

Jalen Hurts was the QB2 overall during Weeks 1-12 only behind Josh Allen which showed a glimpse of his massive potential and upside. During Weeks 1-6, Mike Williams was the WR4 in PPR formats and went for 30+ fantasy points in two of the six games.
It’s already concerning Olave wasn’t an early declare, but beyond that, he ranked third among Ohio State pass-catchers in receptions, yards, and yards-per-reception – in his SENIOR SEASON. Obviously, his competition for targets were no slouches (Wilson and Smith-Njigba), but it’s hard to brush that tidbit of data off.
Williams can presumably win downfield, but much of his production came from his elite YAC prowess. He is a dangerous return man and an electric athlete in space – the polar opposite of Olave.

This article will cover running backs who look nice but in actuality are masquerading uninvited to the RB1 party. These are RB fool’s gold candidates. They are either declining in production, or they don’t come close to meeting the requirements of a running back who has exceeded expectations according to their current ADP.
It’s fun to hypothesize who the next late-round breakout running back candidate is going to be. One running back who could be this year’s Mitchell-level late-round breakout is a blast from the past: Kansas City Chiefs veteran running back Jerick McKinnon.
