Quarterback Streaming Options Week 17

Tyler Shough, New Orleans Saints at Tennessee Titans (18% Rostered)

Tyler Shough has become a reliable fantasy quarterback at the close of his rookie season. Shough has scored at least 17.0 fantasy points in five of his last six games, including four straight contests.

Tyler Shough Advanced Stats & Metrics Profile

The rookie had his first 300-yard passing effort in Week 16 against the New York Jets. Since the Saints’ Week 11 bye, he’s attempted at least 38 passes in three games. Week 16 also broke a month-long streak of games with at least six rushing attempts, so he is adding value with his legs.

His Week 17 opponent, the Tennessee Titans, are coming off a good game against the Chiefs’ backups. But their defense has struggled prior to that. From Week 12 to 15, they allowed at least 240 passing yards and two touchdowns in every game. Hopefully Shough can stay hot with a solid outing in the final week of the fantasy season.

Deep Sleeper: Cam Ward, Tennessee Titans vs New Orleans Saints (6% Rostered)

Cam Ward has been playing his best football over the last three weeks. Since Week 14, Ward has completed 62.4% of his passes for 515 yards, six touchdowns, and one interception.

Cameron Ward Advanced Stats & Metrics Profile

In recent weeks, Ward has consistently shown the ability to extend plays and get the ball to his playmakers down the field, even if the results haven’t always been what fantasy managers would hope for. The Saints aren’t an ideal matchup for quarterbacks, but Ward is playing at a high enough level to overcome that.

Running Back Streaming Options Week 17

Blake Corum, Los Angeles Rams at Atlanta Falcons (45% Rostered)

Kyren Williams is still the lead running back for the Los Angeles Rams, but Blake Corum has clearly emerged as a viable complement in the backfield. Since Week 7, Corum is averaging 10.8 rushing attempts per game. He’s also averaging 57.0 rushing yards per game with five rushing touchdowns during that time.

Blake Corum Advanced Stats & Metrics Profile

According to PlayerProfiler’s advanced metrics, Corum is the RB2 in Explosive Rating (127.1), RB9 in Juke Rate (27.1%), and RB10 in yards per touch (5.2). The Rams are running a true split backfield in 2025, which makes Corum a solid weekly play given his efficiency.

Honorable Mention: Dylan Sampson, Cleveland Browns vs Pittsburgh Steelers (24% Rostered)

Dylan Sampson has missed the last two games due to injuries, but he returned to practice on Wednesday. The timing couldn’t be better for the Cleveland Browns after Quinshon Judkins suffered a season-ending injury in Week 16.

Dylan Sampson Advanced Stats & Metrics Profile

In Week 1, Sampson led the Browns’ backfield without Judkins, racking up 12 carries for 29 yards and eight receptions for 64 yards. If Sampson is able to play, he will be in line for a big workload.

If Sampson is ruled out, then the undrafted rookie Raheim Sanders is worth an add. He had 11 carries for 42 yards and one reception for four yards against the Buffalo Bills in Week 16 after Judkins was injured.

Wide Receiver Streaming Options Week 17

Parker Washington, Jacksonville Jaguars at Indianapolis Colts (33% Rostered)

Predicting the Jacksonville Jaguars’ passing attack for fantasy has been difficult throughout the season. In Week 16, the answer was Parker Washington.

Parker Washington Advanced Stats & Metrics Profile

Washington had just a 55.7% snap share against the Denver Broncos but caught seven of 10 targets for 145 yards and a touchdown. It was his third game with double-digit targets in 2025, but the first time he hit that mark since Week 7.

Injuries in the secondary have shifted the Colts from a man coverage team to a team that plays Cover 3 in recent weeks. That is great news for Washington, who leads Jacksonville’s wide receivers in yards per route run against Cover 3 (2.05) and is second to Brian Thomas Jr. in targets per route run (0.23). Hopefully, he can follow up his big outing with another usable fantasy performance.

Deep Sleeper: Adonai Mitchell, New York Jets vs New England Patriots (18% Rostered)

The New York Jets have shown no aversion to feeding Adonai Mitchell the football since acquiring him from the Indianapolis Colts. Over the last six games, Mitchell is averaging 7.7 targets, 3.5 receptions, and 46.5 receiving yards per game with two touchdowns.

The Patriots should have no problem forcing the Jets into a negative game script. Mitchell should get enough opportunities to support a fantasy-relevant performance, even if the quarterback play is less than ideal with Brady Cook under center.

Tight End Streaming Options Week 17

AJ Barner, Seattle Seahawks at Carolina Panthers (15% Rostered)

AJ Barner saw his role in the Seattle Seahawks’ offense grow immensely with Elijah Arroyo injured. In Week 16, Barner logged a season-high 94.1% snap share. The role change didn’t lead to a massive uptick in his production, but a player being on the field naturally leads to better opportunities than when they are stuck in a timeshare.

Since Week 11, Barner is averaging 6.0 targets, 4.3 receptions, and 37.7 receiving yards per game. His performance in Week 14 (six receptions, four targets, 49 yards, and a touchdown) was his best game since Week 11.

The Carolina Panthers are a middle-of-the-road defense against tight ends in fantasy, which makes Barner a reasonable streaming option for fantasy managers needing a quality player in a good role.

Deep Sleeper: Michael Mayer, Las Vegas Raiders vs New York Giants (2% Rostered)

The Las Vegas Raiders put Brock Bowers on injured reserve on Wednesday, ending his season. That leaves veteran Michael Mayer with an excellent opportunity to be a fantasy contributor in the final two games of the 2025 season.

Michael Mayer Advanced Stats & Metrics Profile

There was a five-game sample size this season from Weeks 6 to 11 where Mayer had an expanded role (including three games with Bowers out). During that time, he averaged an 80.4% snap share with 4.8 targets, 3.0 receptions, and 24.2 receiving yards with a touchdown. He won’t be Bowers, but Mayer was a highly touted prospect in his own right and is worth considering if you need help at TE this week.
