Week 17 Fantasy Defensive Streamers

Need a Defensive Streaming option for Week 17? I have got you covered.

The margins can be tight in Championship Week. Every point counts. While some fantasy managers will have a locked-in option like San Francisco, Buffalo, or Cleveland, most will be better off streaming and finding an ideal matchup-based defense.

All these fantasy defenses are available in at least 60 percent of Yahoo Leagues.

Chicago (32%) vs Atlanta

I will ride or die with the Bears in a few title games this week, and I will do so with confidence. The Bears are home favorites over Taylor Heinicke and the Atlanta Falcons. Chicago has had at least two sacks in six straight games and has not allowed an opposing offense to score more than 20 points at Soldier Field since Week 4. This game checks all sorts of boxes for defensive scoring despite Atlanta’s strong Week 16 performance (won 29-10 over Indianapolis).

Houston (39%) vs Tennessee

Despite passing for only 125 yards, the Titans allowed six sacks in Week 16’s loss to Seattle. Houston is in a huge spot this week. They are at home in a must win game and facing a divisional opponent on a backup QB. The return of QB C.J. Stroud could also buoy the Texans. While Derrick Henry has owned Houston historically, this is a great opportunity for the Texans to win, push their record to 9-7, and keep their playoff hopes alive.

LA Rams (21%) at New York Giants

Tyrod Taylor replaced Tommy DeVito in Week 16’s loss to Philadelphia. Whoever the Rams face, this is an excellent spot for them defensively.

LA are 6-point road favorites. The Giants left a lot on the field in their near comeback over Philadelphia, and this game feels like a let’s finish the season and regroup in the offseason. The Rams, on the other hand, are red hot with everything to play for.

Minnesota (17%) vs Green Bay

The Vikings suffered a disappointing loss to Detroit in Week 16 but will look to get back on track against Green Bay. In Week 8, Minnesota thoroughly dominated the Packers 24-10, accumulating four sacks and an interception. Green Bay will be shorthanded at WR, and this could lead to more opportunities for Minnesota to put pressure on Jordan Love. The Vikings have 15 sacks in their last five games and have forced five turnovers over their last three.
