QB Cade Klubnik, Clemson

Cade Klubnik is a junior quarterback for Clemson who has steadily developed into one of the top signal-callers in college football. Hailing from Austin, Texas, the 6-2, 210-pound quarterback has been the starter for the Tigers over multiple seasons, showing consistent improvement in his mechanics, decision-making, and poise.

A former five-star recruit, Klubnik came to Clemson with high expectations and has worked diligently to meet them. His ability to lead and elevate those around him has become a defining trait of his game. As he enters another year under center, Klubnik has established himself as a proven leader with high-end tools and experience in big moments.

2024 Season

In 2024, Klubnik took a major leap forward, throwing for 3,639 yards with a 63.4 percent completion rate, 36 passing touchdowns, and just six interceptions. He also added 463 rushing yards and seven more touchdowns on the ground.

Klubnik showed off his sneaky athleticism and ability to create plays when the pocket collapses, and his 148.2 QB rating reflects how efficiently he operated the offense. The Tiger was a standout at the Manning Passing Academy, which only boosted his profile in the football world.

Known as a West Texas legend during his high school days, Klubnik has carried that pedigree into the college ranks. He’s playing with more confidence and polish than ever before, and his dual-threat capabilities make him a matchup problem for any defense.

2025 Prospects

Looking ahead to 2025, Klubnik enters the season as one of the top two or three quarterback prospects in the 2026 NFL Draft class. He’ll be at the helm of a loaded Clemson roster, one that’s expected to not just reach the College Football Playoff but make a legitimate run at a national title.

The pressure will be immense, but based on his year-over-year growth, Klubnik seems poised to meet the challenge. If he continues to progress and delivers in big games, there’s little doubt he’ll cement himself as a first-round pick in next year’s draft.

With the tools, leadership, and production all aligning, 2025 could be the season that pushes Klubnik into the conversation for the number one overall pick in the NFL draft.
