Charles Goldman reported the following quote by Chiefs WR coach Chad O’Shea on fifth-round rookie WR Cyrus Allen:  “It’s always a work in progress as a rookie at the WR position… He’s done a great job of improving every day, both fundamentally and schematically… He’s really embraced the challenge of getting better every day.”

These are encouraging words despite Allen’s 0 receptions on only 4 routes run through the first two weeks of the 2026 season.  Allen is currently PlayerProfiler’s WR 74 in dynasty, but can be left on waivers in seasonal-redraft fantasy football leagues barring an injury to WR Rashee Rice, WR Xavier Worthy, or WR Tyquan Thornton.  ~Jason Diaz
