Eagles Beat Reporter Tim McManus of ESPN says thoughts of Makai Lemon making a major impact out of the gate should be cooled after missing minicamp and a good chunk of training camp with a hamstring injury. Lemon had a 39.2 College Dominator Rating (85th percentile) en route to winning the Biletnikoff Award last year at USC before being drafted 20th overall in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Adding to McManus’ report is Dontayvion Wicks, whom the Eagles traded for in the offseason, has been a training camp standout for the Eagles. Lemon is currently PlayerProfiler’s WR54 in redraft league rankings and WR26 in our dynasty rankings. Provided that the Eagles offense is better this year with new OC Sean Mannion, Lemon could still become the top complement to DeVonta Smith – just don’t expect him to hit the ground running from week 1.
