Selected 125th overall in the draft, rookie Skyler Bell sits as Buffalo’s WR5 despite offering raw athleticism highlighted by a 4.40 40-Yard Dash and a 94th-percentile 41.0-inch Vertical Jump. Beat writer Joe Buscaglia notes that inconsistent ball skills are holding Bell back, leaving him firmly behind DJ Moore, Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, and Joshua Palmer in the rotation.

Bell retains late-round dynasty appeal due to his separation ability, but he has near zero 2026 redraft potential. Keep him on dynasty taxi squads, and then reassess after the season is underway.

The Buffalo Bills just secured an additional weapon in Skyler Bell at No. 125, a 6-foot former Biletnikoff Award finalist who pairs a 4.40-second 40-yard dash with a 41-inch vertical that proves he has the explosiveness to win at all three levels. Bell had a 20.2 Breakout Age and a strong 39.0% College Dominator Rating (81st-percentile), providing the background of how he commanded a 33.0% Target Share while operating as a surgical chain-mover.

In dynasty formats, it is a good landing spot for Bell in a WR room that does not have a ton of competition outside of DJ Moore, who is the certified alpha of the room.  Bell should be considered in the late rounds of rookie drafts.

Skyler Bell recorded 101 receptions for 1,278 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns for the UConn Huskies. These number earned Bell First Team All-American honors. He is six foot even and 185 pounds. He started out at Wisconsin and transferred to UConn after having limited playing time with Badgers. He finally able to showcase his explosive ability as a Husky.

He is very skinny but very shifty, his yards after catch skills are superb. The precise route running skills has defenders grasping for air. His sluggo route is his signature move that lead to a lot of his most explosive plays. He comps similarly to Stefon Diggs or Amon Ra St-Brown due to his body type and superb route running skills.

Bell Ranks as prospect number 72 for PFF, putting him in the 3rd round range. He has the chance to impress scouts with his speed and route running skills to push himself into the 2nd round.
