The Washington Commanders are hoping to catch lightning in a bottle by adding former first round wide receiver Treylon Burks. Burks was selected 18th overall in the 2022 NFL Draft.

With Terry McLaurin nursing a quad injury which has sidelined him multiple weeks, the Commanders are in need of reinforcements. Deebo Samuel has also been dealing with a heel injury which has limited his practice participation. This leaves Jayden Daniels in need of more help.

Burks notably was selected in 2022 to replace star receiver A.J. Brown who was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles. Brown has since gone on to 2 Super Bowl appearances with 1 championship. Meanwhile, Burks never averaged over 8.6 fantasy points per game in the last 3 seasons. Burks is an excellent stash in dynasty at the end of rosters in hopes of a revival in Washington.
