WR Pat Bryant is Denver Bronco at Pick 74
4 months ago

Former Illinois Wide Receiver Pat Bryant is now a Denver Bronco, getting selected at pick 74.

The Denver Broncos have selected Illinois wide receiver Pat Bryant with the 74th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, adding a dynamic and physical presence to their receiving corps.  Bryant measured in at 6’3” and 200 pounds giving Broncos another big body wide receiver.

Bryant is known for his elite strength, leaping ability, and strong hands, making him effective in contested catches and red-zone situations. While he may lack immediate explosiveness off the line, his route-running and football IQ enable him to create separation and identify coverages post-snap. His versatility allows him to contribute both as a receiver and a blocker in the Broncos offense.

Pat Bryant: 2025 NFL Draft Prospect and Senior Bowl Preview
7 months ago

Illinois Fighting Illini 4th year Senior Wide Receiver Pat Bryant has accepted an invite to the Senior Bowl and has declared for the 2025 NFL Draft.

Pat Bryant has steadily built on his collegiate states year over year, finishing this past season with 5 catches for 984 yards and 10 Touchdowns. Bryant is a bigger wideout, listed at 6’2” and 200 lbs, who likes to grab passes at the high point and use his size and athleticism to fight for extra yards. While his red zone prowess is his signature trait, Bryant has shown ability to gain separation as well as showcase open field moves.

The Senior Bowl will be a big moment for Bryant, who endured a run-heavy Illinois team with average to below average quarterback play. While Bryant was able to take advantage of softer competition, he came up small when facing tougher NFL caliber DB’s. 3 catches for 26 yards vs Oregon, 3 for 39 against Penn State, and 4 for 32 vs Michigan, for example. Bryant is currently estimated as a 4th round pick, he has the physical traits to elevate himself if he shows out in Mobile, but if he is shut down expect his draft stock to plummet.
