The Miami Dolphins just injected some athleticism into their offense by drafting Caleb Douglas at No. 75, a 6-foot-4 weapon who pairs a 4.39-second 40-yard dash with a dominant 111.0 Speed Score (93rd-percentile). While his 21.0 Breakout Age (37th-percentile) suggests a late-bloomer profile, Douglas is a verified target earner with a 24.7% Target Share and a surgical 118.3 Passer Rating when Targeted that proves he can command high-volume usage while remaining hyper-efficient.
In dynasty formats, Douglas is likely a third-round target in Miami’s rebuild situation, competing for touches with De’Von Achane and Jalen Tolbert.

Despite an offseason roster purge, the Dolphins have labeled De’Von Achane an untouchable “building block” as he leverages a contract standoff after a 2025 campaign defined by elite efficiency, including a league-leading 5.7 True Yards Per Carry (Rank #1) and a 19.8% Target Share (Rank #2).
ESPN’s Adam Schefter recently reported that Achane was spotted in the Dolphins’ training facility this week. Achane’s appearance in Miami’s facilities is a positive sign for his contract status as he is hoping to beat Jame Cooks’ four-year, $48 million contract extension signed last offseason
Now the undisputed centerpiece in Bobby Slowik’s system, Achane’s path to a repeat Top-5 fantasy finish is paved by his outlier athleticism and efficiency that remains immune to negative game scripts. The presence Malik Willis adds downward pressure on Achane’s target volume and red zone usage, but in dynasty, he remains a HOLD offering league-winning upside as a dynamic 24-year-old efficiency machine whose value will be unaffected by a contract extension.
De’Von Achane continued to be the Miami Dolphins most consistent offensive producer, putting up 127 total scrimmage yards in their 28-15 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. This was the sixth straight game that Achane reached at least 100 scrimmage yards.
Tua Tagovailoa threw for 253 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Darren Waller was the star pass catcher, grabbing seven passes for 66 yards and two touchdowns.
Achane remains one the most consistent and reliable running backs in fantasy football, he’s an elite running back one and should always be in starting lineups.

De’Von Achane didn’t catch a pass against the Saints; it was the first time that has happened all season, but it didn’t matter. Achane recorded 134 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries, leading the Dolphins to a win over the Saints, and don’t look now, but Miami is on a three-game win streak.
Achane has been electric this season, averaging over 21 points per game and has continued to see a rise in his rushing attempts. This is his third straight game with over 100 rushing yards, and in those games, he has finished no lower than running back six.

The Miami Dolphins leaned on running back De’Von Achane in their 16-13 win against the Washington Commanders. Achane put up 120 yards on the ground and another 45 yards through the air.
Tua Tagovailoa threw for just 171 yards in this defensive struggle, Jaylen Waddle was the only Dolphins wide receiver to eclipse 50 yards. Rookie Ollie Gordon was also effective today, rushing for 45 yards and touchdown.
Achane is one of the best running backs in the league but he was stuffed multiple times inside the five yard line today, opening the door for Gordon to vulture a touchdown and possibly become more involved as the goal line back going forward.

De’Von Achane rushed for sixty-seven yards on the ground and added thirty-nine yards on six receptions, putting him over 100 yards from scrimmage tonight against the Baltimore Ravens. Achane didn’t find the endzone tonight, just the third time this season he leaves a game without a touchdown.
Achane has been a bright spot for what has been a miserable season for the Miami Dolphins, he’s had either a touchdown or 90+ scrimmage yards in every game this year. Ollie Gordon was the only other running back to have a carry tonight.
Despite how difficult the season has been for the Dolphins and the questions surrounding their head coach Achane remains a must start fantasy running back regardless of matchup.
