A.J. Brown Leads Philadelphia Passing Attack
1 week ago

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown posts over 100 yards in 24-21 loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

The Philadelphia Eagles came up short against the Dallas Cowboys but wide receiver A.J. Brown was a bright spot for their offense. Brown went over 100 yards and scored a touchdown.

Brown has been the center of attention and rumors this season, he’s underwhelmed on the field and, at times, has expressed frustration over his role in the offense. For the last two weeks though Brown has set season highs in receptions, seven and eight, and this week the catches turned into yards (110) and the touchdown.

This game showed what Brown’s ceiling looks like, the Eagles offense as a whole has been inconsistent this season but Brown can still produce like a wide receiver one on any given week.

Eagles Offense Continues to Underwhelm

The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Detroit Lions 19-6 on Sunday night but their offense still looks disjointed and inconsistent.

Despite the victory the Philadelphia Eagles still have things to work out on offense. Jalen Hurts had a rushing score in addition to 31 rushing yards but he failed to clear 200 passing yards for the third straight game.

A.J. Brown was Philadelphia’s leading receiver with seven receptions for 49 yards, Devonta Smith only had one catch for eight yards and Dallas Goedert just two catches for 24 yards. In addition the passing game struggles Saquon Barkley didn’t find much room on the ground, rushing for just 83 yards on 26 carries.

Outside of a few spike weeks the Eagles offensive playmakers have been underwhelming all year. Hurts is always a threat to score on the ground and there’s no denying the talent of Brown, Smith, Goedert and Barkley but until this offense figures things out they’re all at risk for dud games.

A.J. Brown Frustrated with Eagles Offense
3 weeks ago

Philadelphia Eagles star wide receiver A.J. Brown is not happy how the Eagles’ offense is looking or his role.

A.J. Brown speaks out of his frustration with how the Philadelphia Eagles offense has been and wants to contribute to the success of the team.  So far this season Brown has posted 31 catches for 408 yards and 3 touchdowns.  Even though the Eagles are leading NFC with a 7-2 record, Brown says, “We’re not doing our job on offense.  So, you can’t just keep slapping the band-aid on that and expect to win… it’s not gonna happen.”

With Brown’s voicing his frustration once again this season, do not be surprised if he is not moved this off season.

Devonta Smith Leads the Way For Eagles

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Devonta Smith scored the only touchdown tonight in the Eagles 10-3 win over the Green Bay Packers.

Devonta Smith lead the way for the Philadelphia Eagles, scoring their only touchdown and finishing with four catches for 69 yards. Offense was hard to come by for both teams as the Eagles beat the Green Bay Packers 10-7.

A.J. Brown only had two catches for 13 yards, Saquan Barkley eclipsed 100 yards from scrimmage and Jalen Hurts passed for just 183 yards. Dallas Goedert was the second leading receiving with 43 yards.

The Eagles offense hasn’t looked great for most of the year and that continued here but their potential for explosive games forces fantasy managers to keep their skill players in the lineup.

AJ Brown to Miss Week 8 with a Hamstring Injury
1 month ago

Philadelphia Eagles star wide reciever AJ Brown will miss the week 8 matchup with the New York Giants with a hamstring injury.

Right when the Eagles actually start airing the ball out, AJ Brown sustains an injury. Quarterback Jalen Hurts went 19/23 for 326 passing yards and 3 touchdowns. AJ Brown hauled in 4 of them for 121 yards and 2 touchdowns while Devonta Smith caught 9 for 183 and 1 touchdown. That was against a once vaunted Vikings defense. The Eagles now face the New York Giants defense who have a great defensive line but the secondary is not. As long as the offensive line protects Hurts, Devonta Smith looks to hit big in AJ Brown’s absence.

The Eagles are finally passing now after giving up on the running game that is not producing any explosive plays. The explosivness has come from the passing game. Devonta Smith is set for a massive game for back to back weeks. Smith is a very sexy DFS choice. All Smith owners should start him with confidence.

Frustration Growing for Eagles

While Philadelphia has a record of 4-0, frustration is growing for two of the Eagles’ wide receivers.

Is there trouble brewing in Philadelphia? The defending Super Bowl champions are off to a 4-0 start to the season, but frustration is growing for two of their biggest stars.

A.J. Brown and Devonta Smith are both becoming increasingly frustrated and want their roles to change, specifically in the red zone. Brown has 14 receptions for 151 yards and a TD on the season, and besides his Week 3 performance, he has not been a startable wide receiver in fantasy. Devonta Smith has brought similar stats this season, recording 17 receptions for 158 yards and a score. While Brown has been more vocal about usage, Smith reportedly feels the same way. Until teams figure out how to stop Saquon Barkley, Jalen Hurts and the tush push, fantasy managers will continue to be frustrated by the low passing offense of the Eagles.

The Eagles play the tough Denver Broncos defense in Week 5.
