Sean Payton expects Bo Nix to assume an expanded role at mandatory minicamp next week and be “full go” for the start of training camp, providing a necessary step forward after he sat out team drills prior to today’s padless participation. Nix’s recovery from an ankle procedure appears to be on-schedule as he looks to build on last season’s impressive 17 Money Throws.
If Nix can fully accelerate his participation, he can exceed his 18.6 Fantasy Points Per Game and 58.5 QBR from 2025. Nix is high floor, high ceiling option in both fantasy football best ball and dynasty league formats.

Sean Payton handcuffed Bo Nix during his rookie season by squeezing the offense down to a 3.8 uptempo plays per game, capping a dual-threat asset who still managed to flash a 103.2 Rushing EPX (No. 11). The good news is that new quarterbacks coach Davis Webb is reportedly hacking away at the wordy, Shakespearean playbook, which means the Broncos are primed to build heavily on their baseline 37.4 Team Pass Plays Per Game (No. 5).
If this offense finally unlocks the tempo in training camp, Nix is going to exceed his 18.6 Fantasy Points Per Game (No. 11) baseline and deliver value for fantasy drafters in 2026. The 26-year old Nix is primed to break into the Top-8 dynasty quarterbacks this season.
After weeks of trade denials, the Dolphins sent Jaylen Waddle to Denver for a haul of premium draft picks. While Waddle’s production recently dipped due to injuries and Miami’s run-heavy scheme, the 27-year-old now joins a high-volume Broncos passing attack. He’ll challenge Courtland Sutton to be Bo Nix’s top target in 2026, meanwhile Tutu Atwell and Malik Washington are vying for the defactor WR1 role on the rebuilding Dolphins.
The Denver Broncos lost the AFC Conference Championship game 10-7 against the New England Patriots. Denver already had a tall task relying on back-up quarterback Jarrett Stidham after starter Bo Nix broke his ankle last week. The first drive for Denver featured a beautiful 52 yard deep ball to Marvin Mims, followed with a touchdown to Courtland Sutton. From there, Denver could not do anything on offense. The blizzard like conditions in the second half didn’t help either offense.
Stidham finished completing 17 of 31 pass attempts for 133 passing yards for one touchdown and one interception. RJ Harvey had 13 carries for 37 rushing yards and 4 receptions for 22 receiving yards. Mims finished as the most productive reciever with 4 receptions for 62 receiving yards.
This playoff stretch was rough for rookie running back RJ Harvey. He showed so much promise throughout the season, with seven games of RB12 or higher on the week. His athletic ability is too good to ignore, now would be a good time to buy the dip in dynasty.

The Denver Broncos only scored one touchdown in their game Thursday night against the Las Vegas Raiders. In the second quarter Bo Nix connected with Troy Franklin for a seven yard touchdown.
Nix finished with 150 passing yards and two interceptions as well as the touchdown pass. Rookie wide receiver Pat Bryant led the team with 43 receiving yards on just one reception, JK Dobbins led the way on the ground with 77 rushing yards. Rookie running back RJ Harvey and wide receiver Courtland Sutton both had less than 25 scrimmage yards.
This was a disappointing performance for the Denver offense but Franklin seems to have established himself as their clear cut wide receiver two, Sutton and Dobbins remain quality fantasy assets and the rookies, Bryant and Harvey are still carving out their roles.

Veteran wide receiver Courtland Sutton hands a vote of confidence to third-year wide receiver Marvin Mims to be the wide receiver two for the Denver Broncos and notes that Mims “can make plays anywhere”. Mims was drafted sixty-third overall in the 2023 NFL draft and has been stuck in a part-time role since joining the Broncos. He has demonstrated excellent per-play efficiency, stemming from his ability to gain yards after the catch.
If Mims has secured the wide receiver two role, that means he will remain on the field in two wide receiver sets and will have the opportunity for a breakout this season. In the last pre-season game, he ran 100% of the routes with the first-team offense, echoing the confidence Sutton shares in him. Fantasy managers got a small sample of what Mims is capable of at the end of the season, scoring as the wide receiver four and six, respectively. In those two games, he recorded thirteen catches, one hundred and fifty-four yards and four touchdowns. Mims has an Underdog ADP of 125-130, making him a low-risk, high-reward pick.
