Seeking depth behind Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears, the Titans sign Tyrion Davis-Price to a 2-year deal.
The Tennessee Titans are bringing in depth to their running back room. The Titans have signed Tyrion Davis-Price to a 2-year deal.
It has been a rather uneventful career as far as success goes for Price. Drafted in the 3rd round by the San Francisco 49ers in 2022, the hopes of finding success while latched onto the Kyle Shanahan outside zone scheme are a thing of the distant past.
With Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears firmly locking up the top 2 spots in the Titans backfield, Price is at best a depth piece who may not even make the final roster. In the event of a Pollard or Spears injury the Titans would most likely seek another running back in free agency. At best, Price can be an end of roster stash in the deepest of dynasty leagues.

Tyrion Davis-Price was cut by the 49ers after spending just two seasons with the team.
Tyrion Davis-Price has not been part of this 49ers offense for much of the year and has been a healthy scratch for the majority of the season. He last contributed for the team in week 5 against the Bengals, running for 21 yards on 6 attempts.
It has been announced that Davis-Price’s time with the team has come to an end. He spent two seasons with the 49ers, but only played in a total of 7 games. During those games, he contributed 120 yards on 40 rushing attempts. Despite his limited time on the field, Davis-Price, at only 23 years old, will be looking for a second chance to continue his career.
