Who is Skyy Moore

As a true freshman, Moore had his first breakout game against Toledo, where he caught 7 passes for 101 yards. He had 4 games of over 90 yards during his first year at Western Michigan. Skyy Moore led the team in receptions and receiving yards, taking advantage of a D'wayne Eskridge injury.

In 2020, Skyy Moore increased his target share from 20.82% to 23.60%, while catching 67% of the targets thrown his way. However, 5th year D’Wayne Eskridge led the team in both receptions and receiving yards. Skyy Moore was number 2 with 25 receptions and 388 yards.

In his final season at Western Michigan, quarterback Kaleb Eleby came into his own as a passer, fueling Skyy Moore’s sky high production. He had over 1,200 receiving yards and 95 receptions. Kaleb Eleby clearly honed in on Skyy Moore and their connection because Skyy Moore had an astounding 36.88% target share and 70% of his 135 targets. Moore had 5 games with 10 or more receptions, and 7 games with greater than 100 receiving yards.

Skyy Moore was selected in the 2nd round of the 2022 NFL Draft by the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs waited and got their guy. You’re going to see lazy analysts say he’s Tyreek Hill, but he’s not Tyreek Hill. He’s just not. There’s no real competition for the role Moore’s projected to play. Don't let Mecole Hardman scare you away.
