Running back Rasheen Ali is right on schedule from his injury that occurred at the Senior Bowl. Ali was seen participating in some drills at Baltimore Ravens minicamp.
The fifth-round pick from Marshall ruptured his bicep tendon at the Senior Bowl in January. He is expected to be right on track for training camp in August. He was seen at minicamp during some drills. With the shake up in the running back room for the Baltimore Ravens, Ali could be thrusted into a critical role when the season starts. Keaton Mitchell is recovering from his torn ACL in December allowing Ali to have value this upcoming season.
He could be a deep stash for many rookie drafts in dynasty and worth putting on your roster or taxi squad this upcoming season. Ali had a successful college career at Marshall with two full seasons, he rushed for 2,536 yards, combined for 38 rushing touchdowns while also adding 75 receptions in the air.

Rasheen Ali weighed in at 206 lbs at 5’11” and did not partake in the combine drills due to an injury suffered in the Senior Bowl.
The Thundering Herd back put up great numbers at Marshall. Ali’s senior year netted 1,135 yards and 15 touchdowns, along with 28 catches, 213 yards and 1 touchdown. Rasheen Ali shows great vision and break away speed. Ali is slated to be drafted late in the NFL Draft.
Fantasy managers are hoping Ali goes to a team with a need at RB as he looks to be a great sleeper pick in the later rounds in fantasy.

Marshall RB Rasheen Ali’s Senior Bowl is done after rupturing a bicep tendon. Ali will require surgery, likely sidelining him for 4-6 months. Ali played 12 games for the Fighting Herd in 2023 posting big numbers, rushing the ball 212 times for 1135 yards and 15 touchdowns on the ground. Ali, also added value as a receiver tallying another 213 yards and 1 touchdown through the air on 28 receptions.
Everything was looking like it was going Ali’s way at the Senior Bowl, he weighed in over the 200 pound threshold at 204, and was turning heads on Day 2 with his speed and versatility. Ali has the size, speed, vision, and burst and with his great start to the Senior Bowl was looking like a day 2 or 3 pick. Ali, who was gaining steam and rising up rookie draft boards, will now be a late round flyer for an NFL team willing to take a chance on him.
