Los Angeles Chargers rookie tight end Oronde Gadsden was a full participant at practice on Wednesday.
Los Angeles Chargers rookie tight end Oronde Gadsden was a full participant in practice on Wednesday. He left Week 10 against the Steelers in a knee to knee hit, leaving fantasy gamers holding their breathe. He did not return but earlier this week after MRI revealed was just a quad bruise. Fantasy gamers can exhale with sigh of relief, and Gadsden is expected to play this week against Jacksonville. If active he is always a must play going forward.

The Los Angeles Chargers selected Auburn wide receiver ...
Gadsden’s MRI showed a quad bruise leaving him as day-to-day.
Oronde Gadsden truthers can breathe a sigh of relief. The rookie standout had an MRI that revealed a quad bruise which will leave him day-to-day.
This is tremendous news as the injury appeared gruesome in real time. Prior to the Sunday night matchup versus the Steelers, Gadsden had a 4 week stretch as a TE1 in fantasy with one game scoring 29.4 points as the TE1 overall for Week 7. Monitor Gadsden’s status as he will be tough to keep out of lineups.

The Los Angeles Chargers bounce back in Week 8 to dominate the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday Night Football
Justin Herbert threw for 227 yards and three touchdowns on Thursday to defeat the Vikings 37-10. “It was a big win for us, a big opportunity for us to go correct some more mistakes,” said Herbert. This was the first game this season in which the Chargers scored more than 30 points.
Rookie tight end Oronde Gadsden II had another impressive performance, finishing the day with five receptions for 77 yards and a score. His touchdown came on an eight-yard pass, and he also delivered a spectacular 40-yard reception in the game. He has now recorded more than 65 yards in each of his last three games and seems to have found a role in this Chargers offense. The hype has continued to grow and, as of now, should be considered a startable tight end moving forward.

Syracuse Tight End Oronde Gadsden II ran the fast in the Gauntlet Drill in two years.
At the NFL Combine Tight End Oronde Gadsden II from Syracuse ran the fastest in the Gauntlet Drill by a Tight End in the last two years per Next Gen Stats. He reached top speed of 19.23 mph during the drill. You may have heard the name Oronde Gadsden, and that’s because Gadsden’s dad played in the NFL with the Miami Dolphins and Dallas Cowboys. But for Gadsden II he participated on-field drills and had a 34″ vertical. His NFL Combine he ranked 7th overall for tight end participants. He will have to run the 40 at his pro-day though.
Gadsden II reminds me as Marques Colston years ago. His primary position will be tight end but can line up as a wide receiver. He did show up 6’5″ and 243 pounds but has lanky body type.
