Keaontay Ingram Bio

Keaontay Ingram was a 4-star prospect out of Carthage high school in Carthage, TX. Being one of nine kids, he chose to attend University of Texas in Austin. Keontary Ingram started his collegiate career at Texas. Over his 3 years as a Longhorn, he rushed for 1,811 yards and 515 yards in the air. However, he was only the starter for his sophomore year before being usurped by devy darling Bijan Robinson. At the Combine, his 4.53 40-yard dash was in the 69th (nice) percentile and when adjusted for his size, his Speed Score was in the 79th percentile. In addition, he had an above average Burst Score, which a lot of the running backs in this class cannot claim. Projected to go in round 7, he’ll need to show additional utility in order to get close to playing as a running back.

Keaontay Ingram was selected in the 6th round of the 2022 NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals. Now that Chase Edmonds is gone, the pass-catching role is open. He’ll compete with Eno Benjamin for a role in 2022.
