Jack Bech Bio

Jack Bech, born on February 18, 2002, in Lafayette, Louisiana, is a 6-foot-1, 214-pound wide receiver who has demonstrated resilience and versatility throughout his collegiate football career. He began at Louisiana State University (LSU), where as a freshman in 2021, he recorded 43 receptions for 489 yards and three touchdowns. After limited involvement in his sophomore year, Bech transferred to Texas Christian University (TCU) in 2023. There, he played in eight games, amassing 12 receptions for 146 yards. His senior year in 2024 marked a significant turnaround, as he led TCU with 62 receptions for 1,034 yards and nine touchdowns, earning Second-Team All-Big 12 honors.

Bech's collegiate journey was further highlighted by his performance in the 2025 Senior Bowl, where he caught the game-winning touchdown on the final play and was named Most Valuable Player. Beyond the field, Bech's resilience was tested by personal tragedy; his brother, Tiger Bech, a former Princeton wide receiver, was tragically killed in a terrorist attack in New Orleans in January 2025. Despite this profound loss, Jack Bech has continued to pursue his NFL aspirations, participating in the NFL Scouting Combine, where he wore custom cleats honoring his brother's memory. He is projected as a mid-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, with teams like the New Orleans Saints expressing interest in his skill set.
