Quinshon Judkins is working his way back from a major late-season leg injury, but his rookie-year metrics prove he is a foundational piece after commandingly securing a 51.1-percent Snap Share in Cleveland’s backfield. Despite the early exit, he delivered 827 rushing yards and a 27.8-percent Dominator Rating, flashing real utility inside the 20-yard line with 33 red zone touches.
If he avoids any setbacks through August, running behind an upgraded offensive line makes him a clear value option hidden in plain sight. At age 22.7, Judkins is an affordable cornerstone asset for fantasy football dynasty leagues.

Quinshon Judkins is expected to be a full participant in training camp this July, with the rose-colored glasses-wearing Berry suggesting he could return for non-contact drills as early as May OTAs. While Judkins will surely miss some early workouts, he is on track to rejoin teammates for various field activities throughout the spring.
Judkins should retake the field in time for June minicamp. At just 22.4 years old, Judkins remains a premium dynasty league assets. Buy the injury dip and the Cleveland backfield uncertainty.
Jerome Ford will miss the rest of the season with a shoulder injury. Since week 7, Ford had not seen a snap share above 40% and he hasn’t finished any better than the RB28 on a given week in 2025.
Ford had some early season appeal when Quinshon Judkins was dealing with legal trouble, but that quickly evaporated once Judkins joined the team. Expect Ford to draw meager interest in the offseason in a support role to a lead back. For dynasty, Ford is best left at the back end of rosters as his best days are more than likely behind him.

Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski says rookie running back Quinshon Judkins is day to day.
Cleveland Browns rookie running back Quinshon Judkins is day to day after suffering a shoulder injury in week eight. Judkins will have the week nine bye to rest his shoulder.
Judkins took over the Browns backfield this season, he only rushed for nineteen yards in week eight but the week prior he scored three touchdowns. Jerome Ford and Dylan Sampson combined for just four touches this week, which reinforces how they’ve become just role players with Judkins on the field.
The day to day description paired with Cleveland’s bye this week paints an optimistic view on Judkins week ten outlook but Ford and Sampson are speculative adds in case this injury is worse than expected.

Heading into the 2025 season, the Cleveland Browns are expected to employ a running back by committee approach, featuring fourth-year running back Jerome Ford and fourth-round rookie Dylan Sampson. It is not yet known how the snap shares will be divided. With the 2025 second-round pick, Quinshon Judkins is still unsigned due to off-field issues, which opens up an opportunity for both players to make a case to keep their workload when Judkins makes his way onto the field.
Ford has produced 1,934 yards and 12 touchdowns over the past two seasons and averaged 5.43YPC in 2024. As the backup to Nick Chubb for multiple years, he managed to finish as the running back sixteen in full PPR formats in 2023. Dylan Sampson profiles as a running back with good vision, tempo and long speed. He has excellent contact balance and, with his thick frame, does not have an issue pushing the pile in goal-line situations. To truly become a three-down back, he will need to work on his pass catching as well as pass blocking. Both Ford and Sampson provide high upside value, according to Underdog. Sampson is drafted in the late twelfth round, while Ford is being drafted in the fifteenth.

The rapid news cycle of the NFL season is fast approaching. It has been a rather quiet offseason as it relates to NFL players getting into trouble. That changed Saturday night when the news of Browns rookie 2nd round pick Quinshon Judkins got arrested for battery and domestic violence.
Since Saturday, both Dylan Sampson and Jerome Ford have seen a significant ADP rise. Sampson, who was drafted in round 4 from Tennessee, moved up 9.4 spots from the middle of the 17th round on Underdog to the late 16th round. Ford has moved up 7.7 spots to the early part of round 18.
Both Sampson and Ford should expect a more meaningful rise in ADP should the news worsen for Judkins. Judkins has seen his ADP drop 4.5 spots into the middle of round 7. Regardless of Judkins’ status, it is smart to click Sampson and Ford at their ADP just by virtue of drafting backup running backs who can become starters. With there being added risk to Judkins’ future, Sampson and Ford become a higher priority in their respective ADP ranges.
