DeVante Parker Athleticism

Who is DeVante Parker

Devante Parker secured six touchdowns as a true freshman but then broke out in his age 19 sophomore season where he caught 40 receptions for 744 yards. He posted a 46.3-percent college dominator and had his most efficient season his senior year in which he accumulated 855 yards receiving in only six games. At the NFL Combine Parker ran a 4.45 40 time which when compared to Parker’s 6-foot 3-inch 209-pound frame makes for an elite 90th-percentile 109.5 Speed Score.

DeVante Parker was selected with the 14th pick in the first round by the Miami Dolphins in 2015. Parker took some time to live up to this lofty draft capital. Despite commanding target shares north of 20-percent and over a 1,000 Air Yards in his second and third seasons, Parker could finish no higher than WR44 in fantasy points per game. It was not until his fifth season in the league that Parker posted his first thousand yard season after seeing 1,772 Air Yards, and securing nine touchdowns. Parkers 2019 WR14 finish is looking like an anomaly with each passing season as Parker has not finished higher than the WR39 since his 2019 breakout.

Parker is signed with the Dolphins through his age 30 season. It is unlikely that he posts numbers like his 2019 season with each passing day, especially after the Dolphins brought in Tyreek Hill and Cedrick Wilson in the offseason to go with Jaylen Waddle. He will likely continue to remain a WR4 through the reminder of his time in Miami.
