Blake Corum Bio

Blake Corum

Blake Corum is a running back who spent all four years of his collegiate career at the University of Michigan. He grew up in Virginia but attended high school in Maryland where he was a standout recruit. Corum was also the Maryland High School Gatorade Player of the Year and the Offensive Player of the Year according to the Baltimore Sun.

While Corum didn't contribute much as a rookie, he broke out in 2021 with over 1000 all-purpose yards (Third Team All-Big Ten). What followed was two straight years with First Team All-American honors and a National Championship in 2023. He accumulated nearly 2900 all-purpose yards over this two year stretch and was arguably the most productive running back in college football. Corum is the all-time leader in rushing touchdowns in Michigan history and the 2024 National Championship MVP.

However, Corum doesn't have elite athleticism or size, and as an older prospect, some scouts are questioning his upside at the next level. At the NFL Combine he compiled a 97.8 Athleticism Score which ranked 15th out of a total of twenty running backs. Corum is still one of the best pure rushers in the 2024 NFL Draft class and is a potential day two pick.
