The Tennessee Titans take Alabama Tackle, JC Latham, 7th overall in the NFL Draft.

The Tennessee Titans draft Alabama mauler JC Latham at 7th overall.  Latham, a top offensive line prospect, brings his impressive size, power, and agility that will all make him a formidable force for the Titans. He instantly upgrades the Titans o-line and will be key to protecting Will Levis and opening up running lanes for the newly acquired Tony Pollard.

Latham is a massive specimen (6’6″ 342 lbs) whose performance with the Crimson Tide was truly impressive. His strength, energy, and aggressiveness jumps off the tape when in both pass protection and run blocking. Last season, he allowed just 2 sacks all year and averaged 3.2 knockdown blocks per game. The Titans’ recent struggles in the trenches have contributed to their inconsistency in the passing game. Latham will undoubtedly solidify the right side of their line as they look to keep pace with the other AFC South explosive offenses.
