Former Texas Longhorns WR Matthew Golden visited the Detroit Lions.  Golden is mocked in the 1st round for April’s Draft, and could go as the first Wide Receiver off the board.

Golden ran a 100th percentile 4.29 40-yard dash and 91st-percentile Speed Score at the NFL Combine.  Golden caught 58 passes for over 900 yards and 9 TDs in his 3rd year at Texas.

The Lions’ offense is built on speed and toughness– which makes Golden a great fit.  Paired with speedy weapons Jameson Williams and Jahmyr Gibbs, Golden would unlock another level for the Lions offense.  The Lions hold the 28th pick in the first round, but are known for moving all over the board to acquire the best draft targets.
