Cody Schrader went undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft.  But was quickly signed as an undrafted free agent by the 49ers.

Standing at 5’8″ and 202 pounds Schrader ran an underperforming 40-yard dash with 4.61 and had 33″ vertical at the NFL Combine.  Schrader a two-year starter at Missouri proved to be a good running back at the college level, in his final year he Led the team with school-record 1,627 rushing yards and led the team with 14 rushing TDs.  He earned First-team Associated Press All-American. First-team All-SEC. Also, was a Doak Walker Award Finalist.

For fantasy Schrader can be left off most draft board being buried in the depth chart, behind Christian McCaffery, Elijah Mitchell, Jordan Mason, and 4th round rookie Isaac Guerendo.  He will have to try carving out a role on special teams.
