UNC running back Omarion Hampton dazzled at the NFL Combine. Safely a top-5 running back in this class, Hampton is as high as RB-2 for many sharp fantasy gamers. He was expected to run in the 4.4’s and came away with a 4.46 40-yard dash. 

In regard to burst, Hampton had a 38’’ vertical and a 10’10’’ broad jump. His 1.54 10-yard split was 8th amongst his fellow backs competing at the combine. These are positive metrics that help reinforce prior evaluations held by many scouts heading into the NFL Combine. 

Omarion Hampton is a 3-down workhorse who will garner plenty of interest in the NFL Draft. Hampton is gaining steam to be selected in the first round and will be an early first round pick in dynasty rookie drafts.
