Bears HC Ben Johnson has confirmed that backup QB Tyson Bagent is expected to draw another start in Week 5 against the Packers as starting QB Caleb Williams continues to recover from a hamstring strain.  Bagent piloted the offense efficiently in the Week 4 win over the Jets, completing 25 of 34 passes for 268 yards while leaning on a dominant ground game.  The veteran QB Case Keenum will operate as the backup.

For fantasy football gamers, Bagent remains primarily a matchup-based QB streamer, or superflex option, while Williams is OUT.  However, Bagent’s ability to manage the pocket and keep the offense moving makes him a steady enough hand to keep Chicago’s supporting weapons afloat in a pivotal NFC North divisional clash.  ~Jason Diaz
