Tyler Warren Skips Combine Drills: Draft Impact?

Tyler Warren, the standout tight end from Penn State, has opted out of participating in on-field drills at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine, though he is still meeting with teams and taking part in interviews. So far, he’s met with 12 teams, including the Giants, Colts, Buccaneers, Jets and Broncos. Despite skipping the combine workouts, Warren’s status as one of the top prospects for the 2025 NFL Draft remains unchanged, and he’s expected to be a first-round pick. Over his five-year college career, Warren posted 153 receptions for 1,839 yards and 19 touchdowns. His 104 receptions for 1,228 yards and eight touchdowns in his final season further solidified his place as a top-tier tight end.

For fantasy football, Warren’s draft outlook remains highly promising. His decision to opt out of the combine drills won’t significantly affect his draft stock, as his college production and interviews with teams speak volumes about his potential. With his impressive size and athleticism, Warren is likely to be a key player in any NFL offense. Expect him to make an immediate impact, potentially as a top target in the red zone and a key contributor in the passing game. For fantasy gamers, Warren is a player to monitor closely as his draft landing spot could determine his role early in his career.
