Tight End Mason Taylor Comes Out a Winner at the Senior Bowl
1 week ago

After an impressive week at the Senior Bowl, NFL teams will be moving up tight end Mason Taylor on their draft boards.

The tight end class showed out very well in Mobile at the Senior Bowl. Miami’s Elijah Arroyo boosted his draft stock greatly and put himself on the map in a big way, however Mason Taylor had plenty of echoed praise in his direction as well.

Mason Taylor is able to move around the formation and offers versatility that will help him get on the field at the next level. Oftentimes, the fantasy community falls in love with the skill-set of a Kyle Pitts type and forgets about the blocking element that NFL teams highly value.

Mason Taylor showed his strong hands and ability to high point the football in 1 on 1 drills. Lauded for his strong hands, he was tied for 8th amongst tight ends in the nation with 8 contested catches (PFF). This was on display in front of scouts and media. Just a week ago, Mason Taylor was ranked 117th on the Pro Football Focus Big Board 2025. Taylor is now ranked 87th, drawing just behind Elijah Arroyo and just ahead of Harold Fannin Jr. in the 3rd round.
