The Minnesota Vikings have drafted University of Oregon cornerback Khyree Jackson with the 108th pick of the 2024 NFL Draft.

It’s been a long road for Khyree Jackson to make it to the NFL, but the time is now! Jackson is 24 years old and one of the oldest prospects entering the NFL. After not playing football in 2017 and 2018, due to him questioning whether or not he wanted to play the sport anymore, Jackson decided to play after all as he started his return at  Fort Scott Community College and then transferred to Alabama for a Special team/reserve role. For his final collegiate season, Jackson transferred to Oregon where he provided 34 total tackles, two sacks, three interceptions, and seven passes defended. Jackson was named First-team All-Pac-12 Conference.

Jackson measured in at 6′-4″ and 194 lbs and ran a 4.5 40-yard dash. He has the size and physicality of a safety and can be used in blitz packages with his elusiveness. Jackson had a Total Next Gen Stat Score of 72 and was ranked as the 10th-best cornerback in this class.

With Minnesota selecting Jackson with the 108th pick, the Vikings will hope he makes an impact early on since he has plenty of experience. Dynasty managers who need a cornerback in deeper IDP leagues should consider drafting Jackson in the last round of their rookie drafts or hope that he does not get drafted and then claim him off waivers.
