The Panthers Lose Ja'Tavion Sanders to a Broken Ankle
3 weeks ago

The Panthers will have to make their final playoff push without the 2nd year tight end.

The Panthers lost their 2nd year tight end early in their 27-10 loss to the Seahawks. The loss sets up a week 17 matchup with the Buccaneers in what will most likely determine the division winner (pending Falcons vs. Rams).

After showing some flash late his rookie season, Sanders failed to blossom in year 2 as he managed only 4.5 fantasy points per game. As the TE41, he is surely off the map for 2026 redraft leagues. His 2026 value will land somewhere as a late round dart throw in best ball tournaments and as a stash in dynasty leagues. With year 3 looking murky, don’t be surprised if the Panthers attack the tight end position either via the draft or free agency.
