The Detroit Lions have exercised their 5th-year option on wide receiver Jameson Williams. This is good news as there had been some recent murmurings about a Jameson Williams trade.

While Jameson Williams is an electric playmaker, he has dealt with injuries and suspensions that have derailed a full breakout. His 2024 season which was his 3rd was the first time he had a full training camp that wasn’t interrupted by injury or suspension.

Looking to build off of a productive offseason, Jameson Williams staying with Detroit will give him the chance to fully reach his potential. Williams was WR22 last season eclipsing 1,000 receiving yards on just 58 receptions.  His 117.0 Explosive Rating ranked No.11 at wide receiver. Jameson Williams can be had in best ball drafts in round 4 on Underdog.
