The Denver Broncos have drafted University of Oregon wide receiver Troy Franklin with the 102nd pick of the 2024 NFL Draft.

With this being such a high-quality wide receiver rookie class, Troy Franklin is heading into the NFL Draft slightly under the radar. After strictly being a reserve in his freshman season, Franklin took two huge steps forward in his development over the past two seasons. He racked up a total of 162 receptions, 2,274 receiving yards, and 23 touchdowns during that stretch. In his final season, he was named to Second Team Associated Press All-American and First Team Pac-12 Conference.

After coming in at 6′-2″ and 175 lbs. at the NFL Combine, Franklin ran a 4.41 40-yard dash. In his final season at Oregon, he averaged 17.1 yards per catch, making him a big play waiting to happen. Franklin posted a total Next Gen Stat Score of 84, which ranked him as the sixth-best wide receiver in this class.

With the Broncos drafting Franklin with the 102nd pick, it reunites the talented wide receiver with his college quarterback Bo Nix who was drafted in the first round. Franklin will be an excellent complement to Courtland Sutton and be a great target downfield for Nix. His familiarity with Nix will only expedite his transition to the NFL. Dynasty managers should look to draft Franklin early in the second round of their upcoming rookie drafts.
