Brandon Aiyuk and the 49ers have had a love-hate relationship dating back to last summer when he fought for a new contract.  Clarity is forming as fantasy gamers have been wondering what has held up Aiyuk returning from injury. Missing team activities has set things up for a break up.

The void in guaranteed money will set up for a likely release, making Aiyuk an appealing target for wide receiver needy teams. The Commanders, Bills, Patriots, Steelers, and Panthers immediately come to mind with plenty more teams most likely to show interest. For dynasty gamers, Aiyuk’s movement to a new team will provide trade opportunities and at least a temporary value spike.
