Taking a small cost roll of the dice on a player that Ward knows very well and has a strong connection with is a good choice even if it is just to increase Ward’s comfort level to some degree. Adding his college target hog receiver Xavier Restrepo. a player that tumbled down draft boards during the pre-draft process especially doing some questionable thing at his pro-day.

Don’t look to Restrepo as a player that will produce year 1 and his ceiling might be Baxton Berrios. like most UDFA receivers he is best left on waivers unless you hear some very loud drum beats in training camp.
