Tank Dell Likely to Miss Entire 2025 Season

Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell will more than likely miss the entire 2025 NFL season

After a massive knee injury suffered in Week 16, Texans wide receiver Tank Dell will likely miss the 2025 season.

Dell suffered a dislocated kneecap, a torn ACL, LCL, and meniscus. That is about as bad as a knee injury can get. An ACL injury alone is an 8-12 month recovery. With the knee cap dislocation, the patella tendon may have sustained damage, as well. This makes the recovery much more complicated. Keeping the knee stabilized with a brace is imperative to allow the proper healing of all of the ligaments, the patella tendon, and the meniscus. With this extensive injury, Dell may lose some of the explosivness that made him an impact player.

The University of Houston product played in 14 games and recorded 667 yards and three touchdowns on 51 catches last season before the injury. That was a step back from his rookie season in which he played only 11 games, had more yards, and scored seven times. One can only hope Dell will be healthy and still be as explosive when he returns for the 2026 season.

Tank Dell is obviously player to avoid for this season in all formats. He will not be playing in any meaningful games in 2025. I would sell him in dynasty for the best offer available. With his size and the significance of the injury i have a hard time seeing him returning to his rookie form.
