Courtland Sutton
Sutton Receives Contract Extension

The Denver Broncos and Wide Receiver Courtland Sutton agreed to a contract extension.

The Denver Broncos and veteran WR Courtland Sutton have agreed to terms on a four-year $92 million contract extension. Entering the final year of his contract, Sutton reported to camp on time and now has a new deal in place. This deal all but secures Sutton to be part of the Broncos for the rest of his career.

Rookie quarterback Bo Nix relied heavily on Sutton last season as the team surprisingly finished with a 10-7 record and made their first playoff appearance since winning the Super Bowl in 2015. Last season was the best production we have seen from Sutton. He had 81 receptions for 1,081 yards and eight touchdowns. Heading into the 2025 season, Sutton will be counted on once again to be a focal point of the offense and the number one option for Nix. Expectations will be much higher for a Denver team that added RB RJ Harvey and WR Pat Bryant via the draft. A veteran presence on the field, along with head coach Sean Payton, could see the team take another step and be a legitimate contender come the playoffs.

Sutton currently has an ADP of 49 on Underdog. This contract shouldn’t change that, but drafters can have comfort knowing he is staying in a familiar system that saw him score as WR15 in full PPR formats.
